Motorola Milestone 3
Just yesterday it cropped up on Gameloft’s website, and now the Motorola Milestone 3 has been given the full tech spec rundown.
Chinese site XDA.CN managed to get some time on with the QWERTY-toting handset, and put it through its paces in a full hands-on review.
The bloggers confirm the handset’s 4-inch qHD screen, which features the same PenTile tech as found on recent Motorola devices. This technology is used to give a brighter display at a lower cost, and one that also consumes less power. Although this may sound like an all-round win, there has been multiple complaints that colours struggle to display correctly. Still, with that 960 x 540 pixels resolution, images should be so crisp that you don’t really notice.
Under the hood it’ll come rocking a TI OMAP4430 dual-core processor, coupled with 512MB RAM. Beyond its innards and its 4-inch screen, it’s also be confirmed that it’ll feature Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) OS, a re-worked version of Moto’s not-to-be-named MOTOBLUR UI, an 8 megapixel rear-facing camera with 1080p HD video, a VGA video call cam, HDMI out, and a 1500 mAh battery.
If yesterday’s rumours are anything to go by, the handset will be getting official on July 7th. Moto are yet to comment on the rumours, but we’ve been in touch for further information.
